AT&T Digital Life Reviews of the AT&T Alarm System

AT&T Home Security customer’s true feelings about AT&T Security System

Is  AT&T Home Security among the best? Our AT&T Digital Life Reviews indicate otherwise…Online Digital Life Reviews reveal just how AT&T Alarm customers feel about AT&T Digital  Life in their  AT&T Smart Homes.

IMPORTANT: AT&T HOME SECURITY UPDATE – 2022

AT&T Security Systems on AT&T Digital Life Monitoring Program to be Transferred to Brinks Home

As was recently reported in SDM Magazine, AT&T Digital Life is discontinuing its service to existing loyal AT&T security customers.

As of February, the service to the 3G AT&T alarm systems will be phased out.  This has been on the horizon for quite some time…

An e-mail was sent out to existing customers indicating that service would be available through Brinks, but would require an equipment update and that customers would be required to sign a new 3-year contract.

“The email stated that the system and peripherals will remain active until transferred to Brinks Home, which requires a 36-month monitoring contract and acceptance of its standard contract terms and obligations.”

We would recommend that anyone with an existing ATT security system consider one of our top-rated alarms systems before making any decision.

AT&T Home Security Update | August 25, 2017 –  As reported in Reuters, AT&T is considering selling off the AT&T Home Security division, AT&T Digital Life, to pay down its debt prior to the planned acquisition of Time Warner Cable.  In light of the fact that the customer experience often suffers during the major upheaval inherent during transition phases, this may be another good reason to consider other security options to protect your family.

Reputation and Credibility

AT&T launched their home security and automation products in 2 markets in 2012. This new division, AT&T Digital Life, acquired DirecTV and Lifeshield and expanded into a number of major metropolitan areas over the past 2 years. While their services are available with any broadband service they have focused mostly on bundling the security packages with existing services within their own customer base.

AT&T has worked hard to address complaints that are ultimately filed with the Better Business Bureau and have recently managed to achieve an A+ BBB rating.  However, online AT&T Home Security reviews indicate a tremendous amount of customer dis-satisfaction citing poor installation, customer service, tech support, and equipment performance issues.

There have been over 20,000 complaints filed in the last 3 years.

In addition to the basic equipment packages outlined above, there are a variety of additional a la cart custom options which can be added to the Smart Security Package.

The Automation packages listed above includes the additional monitoring fees for Video ($9.99/mo.) and Door ($4.99/mo.)control. Additional cameras are available for $99.99.  The video monitoring will enable remote live viewing as well as video capture and viewing of previously recorded material.  Storage is very limited so one needs to be aware of these limitations.

Available Add-on Packages:

AT&T Security Camera Package

Enables video or still photo capture when motion is detected.  Includes 1 outdoor camera for $99.99 and requires $9.99 monthly service.  Allows limited recording storage capability and live remote observation and notification capability.

AT&T Security System – Door Package

Allows for remote control, automation and remote notification and control of door locks. The monthly charge is $4.99 and the door lock pricing is as follows:

  • Garage Door Control- $49.99
  • Pushbutton Door Lock- $99.99
  • Touchscreen Door Lock- $149.99

AT&T Smart Home Automation and  Energy Package

This package is available for $179.99 and includes 2 indoor smart appliance plugs and a Thermostat.  For an additional $4.99/mo., you can now remotely manage temperature in the home as well as control appliances plugged into the smart plugs.

AT&T Home Security – Water Detection

This package is available for $49.99 and an additional $4.99/mo. to the monthly monitoring bill.  The package includes 2 temperature and water sensors.  It will monitor for water leaks and ambient temperature.

The equipment is reasonably priced, but sourced from a variety of manufacturers and may not be compatible with equipment used by our top alarm companies.

AT&T Digital Life  Customer Service

Customer service was once considered a major challenge for AT&T…as it is for most telecommunications providers.  However, their A+ BBB rating would see to indicate that they have committed to and made significant strides in that area.

However, online feedback shows significant concerns with installation and monitoring issues.

Summary of AT&T Home Security

The AT&T Digital Life Home Security programs offer a competitive security and home automation package on the higher end of the spectrum.  Fully loaded, the program gets pretty pricey -with add-ons, it could easily exceed  $1000 and monthly monitoring that can eclipse $70/mo.

Start-up costs are much higher than many of our top home security systems.  A basic package starts at $549.99.  Premium home automation security runs quite a bit higher…with the basic system starting out at $849.99.  These prices would be fairly competitive if there were no required contract….but the AT&T security system still requires a 2-year contract.

As it is such a new entry in the home security arena, the caliber of the support and customer service are a bit hard to gauge. AT&T Digital life reviews are often mixed in with reviews for their telecom services.

However, online AT&T home security reviews have not treated them kindly, and the volume of BBB complaints would seem to bear that out.

While it might seem more convenient to just add another service to an already expensive bill…we feel that most people would be better served by one of our top alarm companies.

Even an existing AT&T customer would be wise to check out other security options before committing to a 2-year contract for an AT&T alarm system that requires a minimum $549 initial investment and monthly monitoring rates that are on the high end of the spectrum.

AT&T Security System – Equipment

ATT Smart Home Security Control Panel

AT&T has an independent control panel which manages the security and home automation devices which are incorporated into the system.  It can be used with any  broadband service as the primary communication platform, and  includes cellular as a back up  in the event that the cable lines are compromised or internet service is temporarily unavailable.

It incorporates Z-Wave communication capabilities to provide home automation control and management for door locks, lighting, thermostat and appliance control modules which can be controlled remotely, through their proprietary app, on your iOs or Android tablet or mobile phone.

The system is equipped with a 24 hour back up battery and a separate  keypad which is mounted separately from the base unit.  This helps prevent “crash and smash” vulnerability.

Door and Window Contacts– AT&T offers both surface mounted and recessed contacts.  The latter can be installed in area where there are wood frames and one doesn’t want to have visible transmitters.

KeyPads- The Digital Life system  has  both a standard and a touchscreen “enhanced mobile keypad” to arm and disarm the system.

AT&T Digital Life Reviews- Digital Life Standard Keypad AT&T Digital Life Reviews of Touchscreen Kepyad

AT&T Home Security – Interior Protection

  • Motion Detectors– Utilize  PIR (passive infrared) sensor technology and won’t detect small pets under 35 lbs.
  • Glass Break Detectors-can be used in homes with larger pets or rooms with sliding glass doors, large plate glass or many windows.

AT&T Security – Life Safety Devices

  • Smoke Sensors- utilize photoelectric technology and provides superior protection by alerting the central monitoring station  in the event of smoke or fire.
  • Carbon Monoxide -protection will detect the presence of CO.

Miscellaneous AT&T Alarm System Devices

  • Water Sensor– detects water and ambient room temperature to help prevent damage from plumbing leaks or flooding.

AT&T Digital Life Home Automation

  • Appliance Modules– plug in to standard wall receptacles and enables z-wave control attached lamps or appliances through the Digital Life system.
  • Yale Door Locks– Door can be opened with a standard key, your control panel, a touch code or through the AT&T interactive app on any computer or mobile device!
  • Thermostat– The AT&T Security system can control this thermostat, which allows you  to manage the thermostat remotely as well as set schedules to adjust temperature.

AT&T Home Security  Camera

Unlike most standard cameras, this one is weather resistant and can be used outdoors- and has IR “night vision” capabilities as well.

While it is a wireless camera, keep in mind that it must still be powered, and will require wiring.

A Guide to Common Components of the ATT Digital Life Smart Home

ATT Digital Life Smart Home program offers a comprehensive selection of components. This will enable you to customize your ATT Smart Home to fit your needs and budget.

The great thing is that most ATT Digital Life systems are fully expandable.  You can start with a basic system and build upon it when your needs change and/or your budget allows.

Following is a list of the major common components.  We have included the more basic sensors that are often included in a starter wireless home security package, as well as a variety of sensors that you might want to add to a more comprehensive customized system.

The Basic ATT Digital Life Wireless Alarm Package

The ATT Smart Home Hub

While some systems come with a separate base unit and keypad, the majority will integrate the two. You still find very basic units with pushbutton controls, but most will offer a touchscreen display. The ATT Digital Life Smart Home has a touchscreen panel.

Touchscreen Panel – Most top wireless systems come with some form of touchscreen panel where you can arm and disarm your system and manage any connected devices. The panels can be mounted on the wall or set up with a desktop display mount. Many will have an internal cellular antenna that can function as a primary or backup means of communication.

Cellular Communicator – Sometimes the cellular communicator may be a device all on its own. It can be used, in some cases, to keep connected to the app as well as the monitoring center. The advantage of a cellular connection is that it stays on in a power outage and can’t be cut, unlike regular phone lines and cable.

Window/Door Sensors – Otherwise known as contact or entry sensors. Each sensor is two parts, one that goes on the door or window frame, and one that goes on the door or window itself. One is a magnet and one is a transmitter.  When the magnetic field between the two is broken,  a signal is sent to the main unit. It is usually recommended to place sensors on all doors and the most vulnerable windows on the main floor.

Motion Sensors- Motion sensors detect movement inside the house.  They typically screen out smaller objects (below 40 lbs.) and can be placed in larger common areas in the home where an intruder might pass.

Glass Break Sensors- Glass break sensors, as the name implies, can detect the sounds of glass breaking, as intruders will often break windows to gain entry.  They are not typically included in basic packages, but can sometimes be swapped out and often used instead of motion detectors when there are larger pets in the home.

Keypad- Keypads are used to enter passcodes to arm and disarm your system. In many systems, they are integrated into the main hub. They should be placed on the wall or near where you most commonly enter and exit your home. Secondary optional wireless keypads can be placed in master bedrooms or other areas where one might want to arm or disarm the system

Panic button- Panic buttons are often included on the main keypad.  They can immediately alert the monitoring station of an occupied medical, fire, or personal threat or emergency.  There are also separate wireless buttons or pendants available which can be activated anywhere with range of the base unit.

Key Fob- Often referred to as keychain remotes, key fobs work with most wireless security systems so that you can arm and disarm them even away from the keypad. Some key fobs can also include a panic alert feature.

Yard Sign- Yard signs can serve as a deterrent. They alert anyone that the home is protected by ATT Digital Life. While some people argue that this will ward off would-be intruders, others argue that they may provide insights as to the age and make of the systems to a savvy criminal. Realistically, they are more likely going to move on to easier targets.

Window Stickers- The same arguments arise when it comes to window stickers. Some experts suggest that it might make sense to use signs and stickers from a different company if you are concerned.

Siren- The majority of security system touch screen panels or base stations have sirens built-in. We recommend sirens of at least 85 decibels. Auxiliary sirens are typically available for larger homes or systems which don’t have built-in sirens

Environmental Sensors

Top wireless alarm companies provide equipment that will allow you to monitor a variety of potential threats within your home. Typically, each of the components below can be integrated seamlessly into the system and monitored right through the system’s app.

Smoke Detector- In the event of a fire, a wireless smoke detector will automatically send a signal to the central monitoring station if no one is home or if they are unable to get to the phone. Many of them also incorporate a rate-of-rise heat sensor which can detect rapid increases in temperature. This is helpful in extreme temperatures if cooling systems fail, or if there is a flash fire that doesn’t have a lot of smoldering smoke.

CO Sensor – Carbon monoxide is a tasteless, colorless, and odorless gas that can be lethal if ingested in large quantities. Wireless alarm systems equipped with monitored CO detectors will alert you of dangerous levels of CO even when you’re not home.

Smoke/CO Firefighter Module- Already have standard smoke and CO in the home? Some wireless home security systems are compatible with smoke and CO alarm modules that can detect the sounds of your existing smoke and CO alarms going off and alert you via your mobile app.

Flood Sensor- You may be able to prevent major flood damage if you can catch leaks as soon as they happen. Flood sensors, sometimes called water leak detectors, can be placed near the dishwasher, washing machine, sump pump, or any other areas where floods can occur.

Heat Detector- While temperature sensors may be built into smoke alarms, they can be sold as separate devices that alert you of rapidly rising temperatures in your home, which could indicate fires. It is often a good idea to use these in a garage or near the furnace, where emissions tend to set off smoke detectors.

Low-Temperature Sensors- Low Temp Sensors can be set to monitor if the temperature dips below 45 degrees to prevent frozen pipes. These can be placed on exterior walls where the plumbing runs and in the coolest areas in the home that might be vulnerable to sub-freezing temperatures.

AT&T Security Cameras, Appliance Modules, and Smart Locks

Indoor/Outdoor AT&T Cameras- Wireless security cameras allow you to monitor and record what is happening in and outside of your home. Most wireless alarm systems offer a variety of camera options for both indoor or outdoor use.  The current standard is 1080P HD resolution which is motion-activated and offers night vision. Cameras are also available with two-way voice capability and some even offer Artificial Intelligence (AI) which can distinguish between persons and objects such as pets.

Micro-SD card- While most cameras offer cloud storage of video clips, (at a price) some cameras come with storage capabilities on micro-SD cards. These are typically purchased separately, gaining up to 64 GB of local storage.

Video Doorbells- Video doorbells integrate a doorbell and a camera into one component. They may operate through the existing doorbell wiring or function as a stand-alone unit with a rechargeable battery.  Many of the better systems are motion activated and include 2-way voice to allow you to speak with your guest through the system. If it is incorporated into your wireless alarm system it can be operated from your control panel or directly through your system’s app. These are a popular add-on to enable wireless security system owners to monitor packages dropped off at the front door…esp. during the holiday season.

Appliance and Light Modules- These are separate modules that plug into your existing 110v outlets that enable you to control lighting and small appliances right through your wireless home security system. You can turn lights on and off, start the coffee in the AM, raise the shades and turn on fans right through your app. The best wireless security systems even let you set up rules or scenes which will let you automate a whole series of events when you issue a single command.

Smart Locks- Never worry about placing a spare key under the doormat again. ATT Digital Life Smart locks can be locked and unlocked remotely. The AT&T Security smart locks can be managed with your AT&T Alarm App so that your doors can lock when your system is armed, ensuring that your home is truly secure when you leave the house. Some ATT Smart Home systems can even be set up to unlock the smart locks automatically when the system detects that you (and your phone) have driven in the driveway!

  • Enabling a large portion of their workforce to operate remotely to better safeguard their employees against the spread of Covid-19.  Many are furnishing secure laptops to remote workers to safeguard communications and ensure privacy.
  • The best security companies have redundant monitoring centers.  This ensures that calls can be re-routed to another facility if there is a severe outbreak in one locality.
  • Frontline workers that deal with customers face to face are typically allotted additional cleaning supplies, protective masks, and protective tools. You will also find, in accordance with the best industry practices, home alarm companies are reaching out to their customers before each appointment to make sure that they can provide a safe work environment.
  • Most companies will prompt customers to reschedule if they are uncomfortable receiving sales, service, or installation staff in their homes. Many companies are making it as easy as possible to reschedule by providing multiple cancellation methods.

During the Covid 19 health emergency, the best home security companies strictly follow CDC Guidelines to ensure the safety of both security company employees and customers.

AT&T and ADT are two of the most highly recognized brand names in the US.  One for telecommunication…and one for for home security.Which one do you want helping to protect your home and family?

In an effort to diversify product offerings and create additional income streams, AT&T entered the home security marketplace in 2012. ADT  has been in some form of the home security business business for over 140 years.  They are easily the largest home security company with a customer base of over  6 million customers…including the majority of Fortune 500 companies.

ADT has been recognized as the #1 Home Security Company by the Security Dealer Magazine -SDM since the turn of the century.

AT&T Digital Life promotes security and home automation products and capabilities primarily to an existing customer base in hopes that they will want to bundle these services with their telecommunication products and services.

Although AT&T does have their own monitoring center, ADT owns and operates  6 UL Listed, 5 Diamond Certified monitoring stations.

In the event of a natural disaster, this gives ADT customers the advantage of having their calls re-routed to an alternate monitoring center.

ADT Monitored Benefits

Despite the fact that they are new to the home security industry and ar bundling the services,AT&T Home Security packages are actually  more expensive than ADT Monitoring services.

While online reviews and feedback indicate concerns with the caliber of the AT&T security system installers,  ADT Authorized Premier Provider – Protect Your Home has highly trained, experienced and  background-checked technicians to professionally install the most reliable, state of the art equipment. They make sure  that everything is installed  properly and that you are completely comfortable with the operation of the system -which is monitored by ADT – the most trusted name in the industry.

Benefits include:

  • FREE Security System -$850 Value*AT&T Home Security - Compares with ADT Security Systems - Award

Customer Service Complaints- AT&T vs Frontpoint

While they have shown some improvement in handling complaints once they get turned over to the BBB ( over 21,000 in the last 3 years), even online AT&T Digital Life Security reviews  on the AT&T forum indicate that customers are less than happy with their Digital Life security systems.

“Nov 24, 2015 9:55:53 AM

Contributor

I am so dissapointed in ATT.  I have been a customer for 35 years and they would not help me.  I am stuck with a crappy system and a bill I did not sign up for.  So unhappy, do not use them.”

These sentiments are reflected in many of the negative AT&T Security Reviews found online.  In comparison, Frontpoint Security Reviews reflect tremendous satisfaction…which is reflected in their A+ BBB rating-with just 65 complaints registered in the past 3 years.

While the Digital Life  security system packages are competitively priced, tit is significantly more expensive to have additional add on devices installed if you want to supplement the base packages. Current discounted promotions  are featuring used and reconditioned equipment….which may not be compatible with many of the top alarm companies- should you ever wish to switch service providers.

In contrast, Frontpoint security systems are comprised of high quality GE and Qolsys components, …which are both  compatible with most of the other top alarm company’s systems.

While the AT&T  security system  does not require the customer to maintain the U-Verse Internet services, their monthly monitoring costs are substantially higher than most of the best home security companies-running from $40-$65 a month.

Monitoring

Frontpoint monitoring is available for as low as t $34.99 with 100% cellular monitoring- and includes such premium services asAT&T Home Securityvs Frontpoint - Frontpoint Security Gold Award   Crash and Smash Protection and Geo Location Services with Alarm.com’s award winning interactive services.

Opt for the premium Qolsys IQ panel, and you’ll also get a 7” full color touchscreen display that will capture a photo image of anyone who arms or disarms the system.  This unit will allow you to  view video displays, family photo slideshows get weather reports and severe weather warnings when the alarm display is not in use.

So while you might be tempted to add the Digital Life home security system to your bill the next time you visit the AT&T store to upgrade your cellphone or switch out your DirecTV programming…you definitely want to take  the time to explore our top home security systems before taking the plunge.

Frontpoint offers more for YOUR money and is renowned for proving best in class customer service!

Protect America offers most of the same benefits over the Digital Life security system. They keep it simple with the  GE Simon XT control panel with the Simon XT Touchscreen keypad for desiring a full-color touchscreen display that is separate from the base control unit. Aside from aesthetics, using a separate keypad in the entry minimizes the chance of a crash and smash break-in where the intruder attempts to disable the system and prevent a signal from being sent.

Protect America home security customers have their choice of landline, broadband or cellular service starting at just $19.99 a month– HALF the price of the base Digital Life security service.

While the AT&T security system packages start at $99.99, it may end up costing you hundreds more when you customize the system to your home.

Protect America packages include up to $1400 in FREE Equipment!AT&T Security Systems vs Protect America

The Protect America  $0 upfront pricing policy makes quality home security affordable for almost everyone!  For just $42.99/mo., their Platinum monitoring package includes:

Armorax DIY or AT&T Digital Life Professional Install?

If you are considering the AT&T Digital Life Home Security, it is likely that you have been cross-promoted at your AT&T Wireless store or because of AT&T marketing campaigns that depict a modern family smart home and try to convince you that you will save money by bundling.  Read on and find out how much less an “unbundled” cellular security and home automation system can be.

AT&T alarms  are professionally installed, but that is not always a good thing.  The effectiveness of your security system is largely dependent on the caliber of the installer.  Online Digital Life reviews often convey disappointment and ongoing issues which result from poorly trained or inexperienced installers.

There was a time when home security systems required professional installation . Security systems used to be complicated and require drilling holes, fishing wires and programming systems.

Today,  modern wireless technologies have evolved to the point where installing a security system from a reputable DIY Alarm Company means mounting a few sensors and calling in to activate the system.

Armorax pre-programs and configures the system before shipping it out…so installation is a snap.

Consequently, over 90% of DIY alarm customers found the system “easy to install”.

2018 Armorax vs AT&T Digital Life Reviews Update

Much of our preliminary enthusiasm for Armorax has now slipped away considerably for the reason that the enterprise continuously indicates signs that it is having difficulties.

The BBB status has recently slipped off significantly coming from an A(from the time of this AT&T Home Security review)to a C+. This is a sign that the organization hasn’t satisfied buyers complaints-even when they are filed using the Better business bureau.

As part of our secret shopping efforts, we have found that even the sales department doesn’t pick up calls. Incoming telephone calls are usually handled using a voice mail which advises one  to contact 911 should this be an emergency…or to remain on the phone for the sales department. After 2 or 3 additional minutes on hold, one is finally transferred to an answering service which will demand a name along with phone number to get return call.

This makes one wonder what happens if I have a trouble with my security system?

Multiple Changes Since AT&T Security Review

In addition, Armorax has already switched companies 3 times during the last year. They have moved on from the cutting edge 2 Gig lineup, temporarily marketed the Interlogix Simon XT, and are also now providing the less popular Resolution Helix panel.

They have also totally changed their monitoring price plan 3x in the past 12 months. In online Armorax reviews, you’ll find that basically no two web pages share a similar pricing structure. Armorax previously made available no contract plans and also programs together with No cost equipment and monitoring rates as little as $19.99/mo. (their program $24.99/mo. for security and full home automation offered at the time of our initial AT&T Digital Life review is no longer available)

Their most recent offer is priced at $99.00 up front with a 3 year contract  for basic monitoring starting at $34.99. The  Mobile APP is additional!

Absence of Transparency

Moreover, the total lack of online transparency does nothing to encourage confidence. At this time they have a 1 page site that delivers little or no information regarding the firm track record, products, costs, monitoring company and services, Mobile App, Set up instructions and / or training videos …or almost anything otherwise that a prospective client will want to find out.

Although Armorax exhibited great potential in the beginning, we are now no longer keen with regards to them as a reliable alternative option AT&T Digital Life. In our view, you will find significantly better solutions in our Top Alarm Companies.

The following content from our original AT&T Digital Life Reviews is for comparison purposes. Pricing and equipment has changed.

Reputation

Armorax surpasses the the AT&T B+ rating with an A  BBB Rating.  They are  fully accredited with the BBB , and have  compiled an impressive 88% positive reviews on the BBB reviews page.  This translates to a 4.67 out of 5 stars!

On the other hand AT&T Digital Life  has closed over 20,000 BBB complaints over the last few years.

Armorax Pricing

Armorax has a simple pricing structure…which blows away the competition.

The standard Armorax Blackbox system is a top of the line 2Gig Technologies  GC2, and it is FREE with a 36 month monitoring agreement!

Armorax add on sensors are competitive with the other wireless DIY alarm companies. (for current promotional pricing…just give them a quick call at …866-355-0640) Overall, the Armorax add ons are roughly half the price of professionally installed components.

Unlike AT&T Home Security, with an Armorax security system, the equipment is not proprietary.

With the Digital Life system, the equipment is not compatible with most major security companies…so you cannot just switch at the end of their contract if you desire another service provider.

But, the monitoring price is what really sets Armorax apart. Right now they are offering Cellular Monitoring for just $24.95!

And that is not bare boned monitoring it includes:

  • Alarm.com
  • Interactive Service- Arm/Disarm/Notifications and Alerts
  • Comprehensive Home Automation
  • Video Surveillance Monitoring/Management
  • Crash and Smash
  • Geo Services….and more.

All for $24.95/mo.

And that is NOT an introductory price.  That includes a Rate Lock Guarrantee!

AT&T Security System Pricing

With AT&T Home Security, you will be required to pay anywhere between $50 and $200 up front for installation.

Add ons with AT&T can get pretty expensive if you wish to add to the standard equipment packages.  This can drive the costs up hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

Unfortunately, the  equipment is also proprietary to their system, so that you cannot use it with another service provider. Because they are not likely compatible…you will have to start fresh with another security service provider when you get tired of paying their significantly higher monitoring rates.

After any introductory discounts…AT&T rates jump up from $39.95 to $64.95.

Armorax rates are locked in at $24.95/mo…..you do the math.

Armorax recognized as Top DIY Alarm Company

Above and beyond offering a comprehensive interactive cellular monitoring rate of just $24.95/mo.,Armorax is shaking up the alarm industry by combining that with top of the line, premium 2 GIG components…for free.ATT Digital Life Reviews - Armorax Award

  • No Activation Fees
  • No Installation Fees
  • No Shipping Charges
  • and a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee

In recognition of such a superior value, Armorx received our Silver  Award as one of the TOP Home Security Companies of 2017.

While the telecom companies all try to convince you that you will save by bundling their services, after the first year, the honeymoon is over.

In addition to the installation fees, that may have been as high as $200, with AT&T Digital Life, the comparable plan to the standard Armorax monitoring plan of $24.95 is a whopping $64.95!

That is $40 a month more than Armorax!

Bundling…schmundling.  The AT&T Digital Life security system will cost you almost $500 a year MORE than the Armorax Blachbox.

The reality is …you can save a bundle by “unbundling” …with Armorax.

AT&T Security Systems require an upfront installation fee, and charge higher monitoring rates for packages that require additional services.  Ultimately costing more than twice as much per month on more comprehensive packages.

Interactive Features

AT&T offers a full portfolio of security and home automation services which utilize their proprietary app for interactive services.

Armorax uses award winning Interactive Platform is provided by Alarm.com. It is by far the most stable and feature rich interactive platform and includes:

  • Smash and Crash Protection– alerts the central station of an intrusion- even if the system is destroyed
  • Geo Fencing– uses GPS location on your cell phone to automatically control security and home automation functions
  • Power Outage Notification – if there is loss of power, the system sends you an alert

These features are showcased by the  Armorax Blackbox which features  a premium touchscreen  2Gig GC2 control panel At&t Alarm Review- 2Gig Control Panelwhich  can display local weather 5 day forecasts and provide severe weather warnings in an emergency.

The GC2 is  equipped with an integrated Z-Wave communication module which enables comprehensive home automation and management capability of virtually any Z-Wave compatible device!

There is a nominal fee of just $49.95 to upgrade to the GC3, which gives you additional features and capabilities and a full 7″ touchscreen display.

Summary

Armorax delivers state of the art, DIY security and home automation products with the lowest available cellular monitoring that includes Alarm.com services.  With a FREE premium  system and full featured monitoring services for $24.95/mo, Armorax is truly an unbeatable value.

AT&T Digital Life cancellation

So what happens if I’m not happy with the AT&T Home Security System?

The AT&T security system comes with a 14 day cancellation policy. This gives you just 14 days from the time you install or upgrade the system to change your mind. Once that 2 week window has expired, you are committed for the next 2 years and are subject to up to $840 in early termination fees.  Any upgrade results in extends the home automation contract an additional 2 years. That means you you are responsible for the remaining monitoring payments…up to:

  • Smart Security – $640
  • Smart Security and Automation – $740
  • Premium Security and Automation – $840

If you decide to cancel before the 14 days has expired….there is up to a $99.00 Restocking Fee.

How To Cancel an AT&T Security Contract

AT&T Digital Life Reviews recommendations for terminating long term contract

Most home security providers demand a three to five year monitoring contract whenever you sign up with the service. It is standardy practice within the alarm industry and therefore AT&T Security is no different..although the terms are a bit shorter than average.

And once past the rescission or return period, you are usually accountable for all, or at least the vast majority of the monitoring payouts for the total length of the agreement, even though you relocate beyond the operation area of the company. So in case you feel you might be transferring, just make sure you have a clear comprehension of your duties to AT&T before making a commitment.

Review the conditions of your AT&T Home Security agreement

AT&T Digital Life reviews may cite several potential problem areas concerning security alarm contracts:

Escalation clauses- Many companies maintain the authority to raise the monitoring cost following the initial year…even if the contract period is actually longer.

Automatic Renewal Clauses – Some deals routinely renew on an yearly, or possibly longer interval when the preliminary term is done except in cases where the prospect formally cancels the deal and fulfills the required terms of contract termination.

Contract termination Terms and conditions – All too often times, the agreement must be ended in writing, 30 and even 60 days before the end of the principal legally binding contract.

Remember to contact AT&T Home Security customer service and have an understanding of precisely what requirements need be satisfied to make sure you terminate the binding agreement.

Do not forget to follow up with AT&T Digital Life

When it’s time to complete that deal, AT&T Digital Life reviews often cite the importance of following all the mandatory actions and recording all conversations.

Digital Life Reviews recommend that you:

Call- and document the call with time along with contact specifics
Mail- Send out notice by certified postal service
E-Mail- with “read “receipt

Make sure to keep track of your records and keep them where they’re able to be easily retrieved in cases where there is a disagreement. Also- be sure to keep track of your bank account to make sure that there aren’t any computerized debits after the prearranged date.

Switching to your future service provider

As a result of your experience with At&t Digital Life, you’re certainly going to have a much better notion what your optimal provider needs to be like.

Our easy security questionnaire will assist you to identify your choices.

What will happen if I need to relocate my AT&T Security System?

Moving an AT&T Home Security System

One of the main challenges often cited in unfavorable online AT&T Digital Life reviews centers around the concerns that arise whenever a AT&T Security System  customer needs to relocate. If it is inside of the ATT Digital Life service area, there is no problem but, there could be additional costs.

If the customer moves beyond the service area, quite often they are going to still be accountable for all, or perhaps the bulk, of the remaining agreement. With respect to specifics, existing AT&T Alarm System customers should get hold of AT&T Home Security support services.

If you are not and existing AT&T Digital life customer, you should definitely have a clear familiarity with the contractual obligations and the relocation policy prior to signing up. Don’t be reliant upon oral promises from an ATT Digital Life sales person- Be sure you have it documented.

If you aren’t 100% pleased about the explanations you end up with provided by AT&T Home Security, give some thought to some of our top five best home alarm systems before you make a selection.

If you are already an AT&T Digital Life customer, we welcome any experience you might have with the relocation policy. Feel free to share your experiences in our section for AT&T Digital Life Reviews.

How often do I need to test my AT&T alarm system?

How often do I need to test my AT&T Security system?

AT&T Digital Life Reviews reveal bundling isn’t always a bargain….

In all candor, when it comes to home security, I would recommend selecting a company that specializes in home and small business security…not a telecom company that is just looking to add a revenue stream to maximize the average monthly revenue per customer.   These companies are all hoping to capitalize on the fact that many people think that they will save money or gain an additional measure or convenience if they bundle the services.

Comparing the Cable Companies

In many cases,  your location will limit which of these options are available….where as companies such as Frontpoint, Protect America and Link Interactive are available virtually anywhere.

While AT&T, Xfinity Home Security and Time Warner Intelligent Home  are all relatively new to the security and home automation industry, Comcast has been at it a little longer ( about 7 years as opposed to 4 or 5). They also offer a bit longer return period…which is offset by a lower BBB rating.

Time Warner Cable  requires the lowest contract terms-18 months as opposed to 2 years, while AT&T is available without required bundling with their broadband services.

At the end of the day, I guess I liked the fact that Comcast includes a robust video and home automation  equipment package in their Home Secure 350 program and offer the ability to monitor and control their system easily the television. through their TVX1 package.

NOTE: Cox Homelife was recently added to the Comparison Chart, Cox was not included in the summary comparison.  You can find more information on Cox Home Security Systems at: Cox Home Security Review

Customizing an AT&T Security System

Important Considerations Regarding AT&T Home Security System Customization.

Before deciding on how to best customize an AT&T alarm system, make sure that they can provide the equipment you require for a fully customized and cost-effective system. For a truly custom install and to get the most bang for your buck, make sure the system you choose has the versatility and can accommodate the multi-function components described below.

5 Easy Ways to Customize Your AT&T Home Security System

1            The best home security companies offer a full line of “take-over” devices that allow you to upgrade your current security equipment to the most advanced system available. If you are upgrading a system with a fair amount of existing equipment, this is an important consideration.

2            Top alarm companies offer multiple specialized sensor options for your doors and windows include recessed, plunger, and bypass –  providing custom solutions for nearly any installation scenario.

3            It is optimal to be able to open and close your garage door with the same keyfob you use for your alarm system. You can also control it with a smartphone thanks to  Z-wave products that interface with most garage door brands.

4            Protect your home from frozen and broken water pipes and furnace and air conditioning failure with this multi-purpose sensor. Check to see if multi-function sensors are available with your system.

5            Triple-duty detectors can activate your alarm system when it senses smoke and high and low temperatures.

ATT Smart Home Design Tips

AT&T Digital Life Home Security Reviews – Designing your AT&T Smart Home

Perimeter Protection – The first consideration when deciding how to set up your AT&T Home Security system is how to protect the perimeter of your property. In addition to installing sensors at your doors and any vulnerable windows, it is a common practice to attempt to discourage potential thieves from targeting your home in the first place.  Place yard signs, window stickers, and outdoor AT&T Security cameras where they are readily visible.

Interior Protection – Your AT&T Home Alarm system should also include a second line of defense, to detect an intruder if they get past the perimeter protection.  Digital Life motion detectors can be strategically mounted in centralized areas such as hallways or common areas. Extra  keypads or panic buttons can also be mounted in an office or bedroom. Indoor AT&T Home Security cameras can be set up to monitor strategic areas, as well.

Asset Protection- Your AT&T Alarm system also allows you to set up certain sensors as “non-reporting. This means that, if they are set off, they will only send a signal you through your AT&T Alarm System App. It will not activate the siren or send a signal to the AT&T Alarm Center. Sensors can be mounted to gun cabinets, medicine or liquor cabinets or office doors.

Environmental Protection – Your AT&T Home Security system can also be set up to monitor environmental hazards such as fire, carbon monoxide, flooding or freezing.  There are specific AT&T Digital Life sensors for each of these applications.

Home Automation- AT&T Security systems can serve as the central hub to control lighting, cameras, heat and air conditioning, doors, and garage door openers. Your AT&T Alarm system can control virtually any home automation function remotely on the AT&T Security App.

Does an AT&T Home Security system require a landline?

AT&T Security System Monitoring

With AT&T Security there is no requirement for landline service.

As a matter of fact, AT&T Digital Life monitoring uses the cable system with a cellular backup. The AT&T security systems use cable wires but add cellular backup so that nothing can interfere with sending an alarm signal to the monitoring station. Additionally, cellular or cable connections are required for the AT&T Security Cameras.

While some AT&T Digital Life reviews might complain about the costs, many are finding that they can minimize AT&T home security prices by eliminating the landline completely.

Will an AT&T Alarm work with 3rd part home automation devices?

If you take advantage of one of the AT&T Alarm System company offers, you will get a starter kit valued at $700 for $549.  It is compatible with a number of indoor cameras and  smart home devices .

In response to customer AT&T Digital Life reviews,  they have  committed to incorporating 3rd party devices into their mobile application in 2017.  AT&T has partnered with Lutron and will soon support NEST Secure.

In addition to their own AT&T home security cameras, The Digital Life App now supports the Samsung SmartCam HD Pro.  This camera offers the added benefits of advanced detection and 2-way voice capability.  This enables the user to screen out certain areas within the camera’s field of vision and communicate through the AT&T Digital Life App.

Awhile many companies are finding ways to introduce voice commands by incorporating the Amazon Echo and Google Assistant into their platforms, the Digital Life home automation teams are working to integrate their own version of voice command through their own application.

Lifeshield, Direct TV, Digital Life…what gives?

In the world of home security, mergers and acquisitions can create a lot of confusion.  Lifeshield was originally acquired by DirecTV.  Subsequently, DirecTV was purchased by AT&T…so Lifeshield customers were rolled into the AT&T Digital Life program.

If you are an original  Lifeshield  customer that is out of contract and looking for a more stable company that is focused 100% on security and home automation, you should consider one of our top rated alarm companies of 2017.

Can renters get an AT&T Alarm system?

Although how they handle rental situations is not clearly outlined on the AT&T Home Security site, the majority of home security companies that professionally install security and home automation systems require that you are the property owner.

If you are renting a home, condo or an apartment, and you want an AT&T security system installed, you will need to contact them directly to see if you qualify.  If approved, you will almost certainly have to provide documentation of landlord approval.

If you are renting, you you may want to take a look at our article on the best security systems for renters.

AT&T Security System Arming Modes

AT&T Digital Life Reviews – Arming Modes

OFF — Many of the alarm features are still active even when your AT&T Security system is switched off.   Your AT&T Alarm system will still alert you if a doorway or window is opened.  The environmental and life safety systems (i.e. water or low temperature) are still active. So, even if the system isn’t armed, if a fire breaks out your system will still alert the AT&T Alarm central monitoring station.

Stay–  You can arm only the perimeter protection at the doors and windows by arming your Digital Life system in the “stay” mode.   This will enable you to move about the home freely and still have a certain degree of protection.

Away –  The away mode will trigger any interior motion detectors in addition to the doors and windows.

Instant — You can eliminate the entry delay on your AT&T Home Security system by arming it in instant mode.

Duress –  You can set up a special duress code which will notify the AT&T Security monitoring center that there’s a potential hostage situation.

Should I get AT&T Home Security in the garage?

Should I add the garage to my AT&T Digital Life System?

The garage is often home to at least one automobile and typically where many of us store expensive tools, lawn and garden equipment, snow blowers, sporting goods, etc. It may also be where gasoline, oil, propane, and other flammables are stored.  This greatly increases the chance of fire…that could quickly spread to the home.

Consequently, we would recommend that, at the very least, you install a heat detector as part of the AT&T Smart Home protection package.

Top  6 Ways to Enhance Garage Security with an AT&T Home Security System

Outdoor AT&T Digital Life Camera – Keep an eye on who approaches your garage doors and monitor activity. The outdoor AT&T security cameras offer 1080P HD resolution with motion detection and night vision.

Overhead Door Monitors – Always know whether the largest entry is open or closed. Tilt sensors use an inclinometer to detect the angle of the garage door. They send a signal to the control panel whether the overhead garage door is in an open or closed position.

Garage Door Openers – Allow automation and remote management of the overhead doors. With a wireless connection to the AT&T security system control panel, the doors can be controlled and even automated from the panel or right through the AT&T Smart Home App.

Indoor AT&T Security Cameras – Monitor activity within the garage when access is gained. In our household, we have shipments and grocery deliveries inside the garage.  With an AT&T Smart Home camera, we can keep an eye on things remotely.

Exterior Door Contacts – Keep all vulnerable garage doors protected. Exterior and/or home entranceways should be protected.

Heat Detectors – Not affected by smoke and fumes…a heat detector senses rapid rises of temperature due to fire.  This is especially important in homes with an attached garage.

The monthly rates for an AT&T Alarm system run from $39.99 to $64.99 depending on the services provided.  These rates are more competitive when bundled with other services, but increase after the initial promotional period.  Online AT&T Digital Life reviews often cite issues with the service. Do I need a permit to install AT&T Home Security?

Is it mandatory to secure an alarm permit to connect an AT&T Digital Life security system?

It’s important to note that while you don’t need a permit for your AT&T alarm system when it’s not professionally monitored, if you plan to have it remotely monitored for emergency response services, many local towns will require a permit. This usually involves a simple application with your local police or sheriff’s agency, along with a reasonable fee. You will need to provide the name, address, and phone number of AT&T Security, as well as the AT&T Alarm monitoring station.

In places where permits are necessary, most cities will charge a one-time fee to register your security system. Some cities may also require an annual renewal. In areas with high crime and false alarm rates, not registering your alarm system may result in a refusal to respond to locations without a permit, although this is rare. Additionally, you may face additional fees if emergency services are dispatched to an address without a permit in municipalities where it is required.

Regardless of whether you purchase a permit or not, many cities will impose penalties for frequent false alarms. Typically, communities have policies in place where the first one to two dispatches may not result in penalties. However, subsequent offenses can lead to fees ranging from $25-50 for the first enforceable offense to $100-200 for recurring offenses. Therefore, it is crucial for AT&T Digital Life alarm system customers to contact their local police department, find out what permits are needed, understand the local regulations, and ensure they follow the recommended steps to prevent false alarms.

How to avoid False Alarms...

Tips to Prevent False Alarms with your AT&T Alarm System

As mentioned earlier, False Alarms with your AT&T Security system can be not only a nuisance and a drain on your community law enforcement and emergency services resources -it can ultimately result in costly fines.

The vast majority of all residential dispatches are a result of false alarms Consequently, most municipalities assess fines to homes when they exceed a certain number of false alarms.

To prevent this from happening to you, here are some tips for preventing a false alarm with your AT&T Digital Life system.

The following are some tips to help you avoid false alarms.

  • Make sure everyone knows how to turn off the alarm. Your AT&T Alarm System will have a master passcode, as well as multiple additional user codes that can be programmed into the system.  Make sure everyone knows their code and knows how to disarm the system.
  • Ensure that everyone also knows the password. In the event of an alarm, the central monitoring station will typically call the home first and request the password to verify that the person answering is an authorized party. In the event of an alarm, if the person answering the call cannot provide the correct password, the authorities will likely be dispatched.
  • Check to see that all doors and windows are properly secured before arming the system. A door that is left slightly ajar can be blown open in your absence and set off the alarm.
  • Make certain that all ATT Home Security sensors or mounted securely and in the correct positions. Motion detectors should be mounted at a height of 6’ and away from fans, heaters, fireplace, and air conditioners.
  • Be aware of items that might set off a motion sensor. It’s not just the pets ..AC units can cause fluttering curtains or plants…even helium balloons that can be carried about the home by air currents. Make sure they are tied down away from motions.
  • Ideally, pets should be confined to areas away from motion detectors. If that is not possible, there are “pet friendly” or “pet immune” sensors which can screen out smaller pets below 40, 50 even 80 lbs.  Motions can also be set up to create pet alleys where pets might move freely.  The other option is to use glass break detectors instead of motions.
  • Be certain to replace batteries when required. Most systems use Lion batteries with at least a 2-year expected lifespan. Your AT&T Home Security system will typically notify you when the batteries are getting low and alert you when there are roughly 30 days of useful life.  It is a good idea to have extra batteries on hand and replace them immediately. Your system will also notify you if there are any other issues with sensors.  If you get a system fault alert, perform a status check and check out the sensor. Contact your local AT&T Security office if it appears to be malfunctioning.

Keep your user ATT security system manuals/codes/passwords in a secure designated area where they can be consulted if necessary.  But, the best way to avoid false alarms is to use your system regularly and make sure that everyone is familiar with how to operate the system.

Extra Options for AT&T Security Sensors

6 Alternative Uses for ATT Digital Life Sensors

Door or window sensors  have many alternative options that can enhance the value of your AT&T home security system.

Most AT&T Digital Life Reviews don’t mention it, but door sensors can be set up so that they don’t actually set of the alarm. However, they can chime and send a notification alert through the Digital Life App. You can monitor events through the AT&T Digital Life Camera from your smart phone or on a computer at the office.

The basic sensors can be used in a bunch of ways that you might not have thought of:

Gun Safe – Securing your weapons from unauthorized or unsupervised use is extremely important. Locking your gun cabinet is the first step. Your AT&T security system can provide a second layer of protection with the addition of a magnetic contact-set in “report-only” mode.  Then it will send an e-mail notification via SMS or e-mail to alert you when your cabinet is accessed.

Liquor and Medicine Cabinets- You can even monitor the contents of your liquor and medicine cabinets. Some systems will allow you to set schedules and alert you if a cabinet was not opened by a certain time.  This can be useful to remind the elderly that it is time to take medications.

Hazardous Materials- When childproofing your home, this can provide an extra safeguard against accidental poisoning.  Mount a sensor on any cabinet within a child’s reach that might contain harmful or toxic materials.  It can be set to send an alert or sound the chime feature on your security system, without actually setting off the alarm.

Tool Shed- If the tool shed is located within the range of the hub of your AT&T Alarm system, a sensor can be placed on the door of your tool shed as well.  While it might not be mentioned in other AT&T Digital Life Reviews, you might need to look into special outdoor sensors that are specially designed to deal with extreme temperatures and the elements.

Mailbox- Wondering if the mail has been delivered?  AT&T security sensors can be placed on the mailbox to let you know.

Pool Gate – Pools are great, but for families with young children, they can be worrisome. Your  AT&T Home Security system can alert you if the gate is opened.   Check with Digital Life customer service to find out  what sensors are best suited for your situation.

Keep in mind that outdoor applications may require more robust sensors. Mounting on some surfaces can be difficult.

Also, the distance to the sensor from the main hub of the wireless security system is a limiting factor.

Additionally,  weather conditions may dictate the need for specialized outdoor sensors.

Contact the AT&T Home Security customer service department for recommendations for the ideal solution for your situation.

Will my dog trigger the motion detector?

AT&T Security System motion detectors…

….can be a significant part your home security system. They are a cost-effective method to guard an entire room or area.

Regardless of where an intruder passes, as they go about the home, they will almost surely need to pass through hallways or
stairways.

The standard motion sensor on your AT&T Alarm system will not be set off pets under 40 pounds-if it has been mounted correctly. However, AT&T digital life reviews site complaints about motions creating false alarms because they were not mounted properly.

In cases where you’ve got a larger pet…ask your AT&T home alarm system rep about detectors that can screen out pets around 80 pounds.

If you have a bigger pet that cannot be restricted from areas covered by motion sensors,  then you can also create a”pet alley”. Ask your Digital Life technician for specifics.

And you might wish to consider a glass break detector or AT&T security cameras as an alternate.

What are some of the other benefits of purchasing a AT&T Digital Life?

Eight great things about buying AT&T Home Security, (or one of the Top Rated Home Security Systems)

Some people may think of a security system as just a burglar alarm system, but in reality, technological advancements have led to the evolution of home security towards a more comprehensive security, energy, and property management system. The modern-day system is a futuristic electronic powerhouse that is simple to use while offering a significant upgrade in features over its predecessors. Below is a partial range of benefits that AT&T Digital Life customers can enjoy if they choose to opt for a home security system.

Protect Against Fire – AT&T Digital Life reviews highlight significant concerns with fire protection. According to the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), a fire occurs approximately every 24 seconds in the US. In 2014, there were around 1.3 million reported fires, resulting in over 13,000 injuries, nearly 3,000 of which were fatal, and causing almost $10 billion in property damage. A monitored AT&T security system ensures that heat, fire, and smoke are detected at the earliest possible point and that the fire department is promptly alerted – whether you are at home or not. Your home alarm system will ensure that help is on the way to protect your property, pets, and loved ones even when you’re not there.

AT&T Security Guards against Flooding – A water sensor/probe can be placed in the basement or laundry area to alert you of potential flooding issues caused by things like plumbing problems, leaky roofs, or damp basements. AT&T Digital Life adds comfort and convenience by allowing you to automate temperature settings and control the temperature in your home from anywhere in the world via an internet connection. Temperature schedules can be tailored to your lifestyle and adjusted when you arm or disarm your system. Want your home to be cozy warm or cool when you arrive? Your security system can be manually controlled from your smartphone with interactive programs.

Lock Doors Remotely – You no longer need to give a spare key to the dog walker or plumber coming to fix a leaky faucet. You can unlock the door when they arrive and lock it back up when they leave. No more lost keys or changing locks when someone leaves. Access is all managed through the home security system. Keep an eye on pets with AT&T Security Cameras – Ever wondered what your pet does when you’re away? Cameras allow you to remotely monitor and observe what’s happening at home. Some security cameras even offer two-way communication. Monitor your pets and more.

Verify Arrival of Latchkey Children – Even without cameras, your AT&T home security system can send you text or email notifications when the system is armed or disarmed, like when the kids come home from school. Monitor Gun Cabinets and Sensitive Areas – You can keep an eye on valuables and sensitive areas without triggering an alarm by using door sensors and setting them as non-reporting zones. They won’t set off the alarm, but they will send an email notification, alerting you if someone has accessed a gun cabinet, liquor cabinet, office drawer, or any vulnerable area you want to monitor.

Affordability – Many are surprised at how affordable modern, wireless home security and automation systems can be. While traditional home alarm systems used to cost thousands of dollars, companies like Protect America, Frontpoint, and Armorax Security make comprehensive security and feature-rich home automation systems accessible to almost anyone. An AT&T Home Security system provides Peace of Mind – The most sought-after benefit when considering a home security and automation system is peace of mind. Knowing your home is secure and having complete control over it whether you’re home or away is invaluable. Consider exploring various home security options to see how affordable peace of mind can be before making a final decision.

Benefits of DIY Over AT&T Digital Life Professional Set Up

Potential benefits to DIY Install over an AT&T Security System Pro Install

  • Less Expensive– Setting up a DIY alarm can save money over a professionally installed AT&T Alarm System.  AT&T Digital Life Reviews  frequently complain of  installation inexperience. Additionally, they maintain that equipment costs on larger AT&T Home security systems were too high.
  • No Contracts –  The AT&T Digital Life contracts are less than the industry average, but many DIY alarm companies such as Frontpoint are now month to month.
  • No Waiting– With an AT&T Alarm,  you will need to schedule an appointment with a technician-during normal business hours. DIY systems can be installed as soon as the shipment arrives. It can be done at a time that is convenient for you.  Consequently, there is no need to take time off from work.

  • No strangers in your home – While AT&T Home Security takes great care in hiring technicians…they sometimes have to use 3rd party sub-contractors.  They may not be as well vetted as their own employees.  Why take a chance when a wireless home security system is so easy to install?

DIY Alarm Install Advantages over AT&T Digital Life Pro Install

Xfinity Home Security Reviews-

Features of Expert AT&T Alarm Installation

• A lower amount of effort
• Additional Expertise

Though a professionally installed system from AT&T Home Security would definitely demand reduced effort, the majority agreed that the systems offered via the recommended DIY home security system service providers had been very easy to set up, easy to use as well as ended up saving consumers a considerable amount of money over a professionally installed system.

If you happen to go with professional set up of ATT Digital Life , always determine how experienced your tech is as well as whether they have been background checked as well as undergone drug screening.
